Hamisa Mobetto has chosen to rename her son, thereby severing any association with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.

If you're an avid social media user and follow Tanzanian actress and model Hamisa Mobetto, you might have noticed a recent change in her children's names on their social media profiles. This alteration has raised questions among fans about the reasons behind the adjustment.

Mobetto, who is a mother of two, has a son and a daughter with two different men. It's widely believed that she conceived her son Dylan with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz while he was still in a relationship with Zari Hassan.

Mobetto's pregnancy brought their relationship into the public eye.

Initially, Diamond regarded Mobetto as an extramarital affair. However, when she became pregnant, the truth emerged, especially after she publicly identified Diamond as the father of her child.

Throughout, Hamisa Mobetto openly shared updates about her son, Dylan Abdul. She even opted to name him Naseeb, after Diamond, a choice that sparked considerable controversy.

In recent years, reports surfaced suggesting that Diamond had declined to recognize Dylan as his son.

Following this, Mobetto made the decision to alter her son's name to Dylan Mobetto, removing any link to Diamond's surname.

This choice followed Diamond's repeated refusal to acknowledge Dylan as his child.

Hamisa Mobetto has chosen to rename her son, effectively ending any connection to Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.

However, Mobetto has decided to keep her daughter's name as Fantasy Francis, maintaining her connection to her father, Majito Francis.

After Hamisa Mobetto's decision to change her son's name, speculation about the status of her relationship with Diamond and their ongoing paternity dispute has intensified.

Fans are questioning the reasons behind the name change and its implications for the future.

In a phone interview with Tanzanian blogger Millard Ayo, Hamisa Mobetto's mother provided insights into the decision and its underlying motivations.

When asked about her daughter's decision, Hamisa's mother noted that during their time, social media platforms like Instagram were not as prevalent, implying that such changes might be more common now.

She suggested that the interviewer should seek the reasons directly from Hamisa herself, as she believed that Hamisa would have the best explanation for her actions.

"Hilo swali anatakiwa ajibu Hamisa... Sisi wakati tunawazaa hakukuwa na Insta jamani lakini nathani haya ni mambo ya kawaida tu jamani... AtWajibu kwa ufasaha kabisa. azungu wanasema time will tell," she said.

She emphasized her unwavering support and determination to defend her daughter regardless of any public speculation.

Hamisa's mother, who has reduced her activity on social media, reaffirmed her commitment to standing by her daughter's side until the end.
