Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, Davido, renowned for his music prowess, entrepreneurial ventures, and production skills, hinted at a potential departure from the entertainment realm. The father of six disclosed his contemplation, revealing that upon the completion of his forthcoming album, he might bid adieu to the industry.

Expressing his rationale via social media, Davido cited incessant provocations from some Nigerian peers in the field. He lamented being targeted and engaged in needless disputes merely for his dominance within the scene.

Taking to his X account, the 'Unavailable' crooner put up a post addressing his haters as well as seemingly promising to give them the "peace" they have for so long.

“Y'all niggas want me out of the game that bad? Oya after the next album I no do again. So una fit get peace," Davido's post read.

His post was in reaction to some doctored posts about him that were making rounds on social media showcasing the Grammy nominee donning female underwear.

This is not the first time the father of 6 has complained about people in the industry being uncomfortable because of him being around. If you recall, quite recently, the 'IF' hitmaker opined that since he came into the industry, most of his colleagues haven’t experienced peace of mind.

In a recent online spat, the star found himself embroiled in a fiery exchange with fellow artist Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid or Starboy. The confrontation escalated as they traded barbs, each vying to assert their supremacy as the superior artist.
