Politician Mike Sonko has left many astonished after revealing the value of the jewelry and rings he typically wears.

Speaking during Obinna's show on YouTube, Sonko explained his preference for a high-value wardrobe despite not currently holding any political office.

He disclosed owning 11 phones, all operational 24/7, and asserted that among his attire, the cheapest item is his underwear, which he claimed to purchase for Ksh 10,000 each.

Displaying his rings on his fingers, Sonko detailed the value of each, mentioning figures in the millions. He noted that his wife purchased some and also provided prices for his necklaces.

"I have 11 phones, and they are all working. I have no office or job, but people just call me. The style I came with today is of diamonds and gold. The value of my diamond ring is like Ksh 15m, this other ring is worth 10m, and this other one my wife bought me for Ksh 7m," Sonko bragged.

To alleviate the concerns of his critics, Sonko requested that a jewelry expert confirm the cost of the jewelry he wears the next time Obinna invites him to discuss it. He expressed that some people believe he is dishonest.

"I bought the bracelet for over Ksh 15m, and the necklace costs Ksh 25m. Sometimes bring in someone to assess the prices of these items so that your viewers don't think we are staging a show," Sonko told Obinna, who was shining in this period.

Sonko's political journey spans nearly 15 years, beginning as the Member of Parliament for Makadara. He later contested and won the Nairobi Senatorial seat before assuming the governorship, albeit not completing his term.
