Think again if you believed that Sean "Diddy" Combs' star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame would be taken down due to growing allegations. Despite many requests for removal due to his ongoing legal issues, sources say it will stay in place.

Yes, a growing number of sexual assault lawsuits against the 54-year-old rapper and music mogul have led people from all walks of life to call for his star to be taken down. A representative for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, however, told TMZ that the group is "powerless" to remove stars that have been placed on Hollywood Boulevard. The Chamber can only designate, create, and place stars; it cannot take them away.

Actor Jamie Foxx introduced Combs at the ceremony when he was awarded the 2,362nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in case you missed it. "He throws the best party you've ever seen in your life," Foxx said, complimenting Combs.

And added, "This is big. This is legendary. And they'll never be able to take this away from you."

Combs' star is here to stay despite the growing volume of lawsuits and a federal criminal investigation. For the time being. In the past, he has refuted the claims of sexual assault, claiming that his accusers are just looking for a "payday." Yes, but the tape is still there.

The incriminating video that surfaced last week showed Combs assaulting Ventura viciously in a 2016 hotel security camera. Combs apologized in public after the video was made public, but many on social media doubted the sincerity of his regrets, which infuriated and shook them.

Take this: In response to allegations of lying about the abuse, including those made by Combs himself, Ventura broke her silence on Thursday and urged people to "open your heart to believe victims the first time."

The statute of limitations prevented the Los Angeles County District Attorney from bringing charges against Combs for the assault. Before the settlement of the case, Ventura had claimed that Combs had given the hotel $50,000 for the video following the attack.

Even more women have come forward with decades-old accusations of sexual assault against Combs in the wake of the aftermath. According to court records obtained by the Daily Mail, April Lampros filed a recent lawsuit alleging that Combs sexually assaulted her several times in the 1990s and early 2000s. Despite his ostensibly repugnant and purportedly illegal actions, his Hollywood reputation will endure.
