Nigerian Afrobeats singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has revealed that his sixth studio album will be a tribute to his late mother, Jane Morayo Balogun.
The 'Ojuelegba' hitmaker conveyed the announcement through a video message shared on his social media on Saturday.

He revealed that the album, titled ‘Morayo’ in honor of his mother, will be released “very soon.”
Wizkid while stepping out of a private jet said, “My album ‘Morayo’, dedicated to my mum, the love of my life, drops very soon. Don’t dull. Don’t sleep.”
It is remembered that Wizkid's mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away on August 18, 2023, in London, following which she was laid to rest in Nigeria.
Wizkid expressed that the pain of losing his mother “hurts deeply.” He added, “The pain is profound.”
