Kids were shouting "Christmas in July" due to an electronics and sneaker giveaway organized in Compton, thanks to Kendrick Lamar and pgLang's involvement. The event was co-hosted by Kai Cenat, Wacko (CEO of 319 Music Group), and Tim Hinshaw's creative studio Free Lunch, making it a true community effort.

TMZ Hip Hop captured the event, where the excitement from K. Dot's Pop-Up Concert was still palpable throughout Compton. We spoke with Kai, who revealed he had Mr. Beast's credit card to purchase items like big-screen TVs, Nike sneakers, and iPhones. Impressively, he also matched the amount spent from his own funds.

Teamwork was key, as all the parties had recently collaborated to donate $200K to Los Angeles-based charities and city initiatives. Compton OGs Jason Martin and Jay Worthy were also present, emphasizing that their community contributions have been ongoing and were not sparked by the rap battle with Drake.

They assured us of their long-standing dedication to their community.

Jason noted that the success of the chart-topping song "Not Like Us" is now bringing global attention to the positive actions of Kendrick and others dedicated to uplifting Compton.
