The ongoing drama between the iconic Nigerian music duo P-Square, made up of twin brothers Peter Okoye (Mr P) and Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), continues to escalate with renewed intensity.

In the latest twist, Mr P has responded to Rudeboy's accusations concerning a legal dispute involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Rudeboy recently opened up about his encounter with the EFCC, detailing the nature of the allegations against him and his brother.

The charges center on allegations of financial mismanagement within the P-Square group, specifically accusing Rudeboy and their former manager, Jude Okoye (their elder brother), of diverting funds meant for the group's collective use.

In a recent candid radio interview, Rudeboy revealed that his twin brother, Mr. P, filed the petition against him. He attributed this move to a toxic combination of bad advice, anger, and jealousy on Mr. P’s part.

Rudeboy revealed that it took over six months to clear his name, a period marked by significant personal and professional strain.

The brothers' discord dates back to 2014, when their collaboration with American rapper T.I. on the track "Ejeajo" introduced a shift from their usual sound. Rudeboy suggested that their evolving musical direction might have contributed to the rift. He proposed that each brother contribute five songs to their next album to preserve the P-Square essence.

Tension intensified when Mr P allegedly expressed a desire to leave the group, a decision he kept private. This left Rudeboy worried about public perception if he pursued a solo career. Rudeboy’s decision to keep the news under wraps was a strategic move to avoid being portrayed negatively.

As the P-Square saga unfolds, fans and industry observers are left wondering whether the brothers can mend their differences and restore their once-unbreakable bond, or if this latest dispute signals the end of an era for one of Nigeria’s most beloved musical acts.
