Kehlani has accused her ex, Javaughn Young-White, of being physically, emotionally, and verbally abusive, as well as constantly under the influence of drugsā€”a situation she says is negatively impacting their daughter, Adeya Nomi.

According to new legal documents obtained by the media, Kehlani was granted a court-ordered protection against Javaughn after he allegedly broke through her locked bedroom door in a fit of rage back in June. The altercation reportedly occurred after Kehlani questioned him about a notice she received, indicating that he had applied for public assistance.

At the time, Javaughn was living in the back house of Kehlani's property. She claims he spent his days smoking weed, taking magic mushrooms, and isolating himself in his room, which she described as filthy.

Kehlani says the situation escalated when Javaughn forcibly entered her room, calling her a "bitch" and a "liar," and blaming her for their daughter's birth, claiming he felt "trapped" and that his life was "ruined." Following the incident, Kehlani told Javaughn to leave, and when she checked the back house, she found it in disarray, littered with marijuana, food, trash, and debris.

Kehlani alleges that their 5-year-old daughter would often spend time with Javaughn in that environment and would return smelling of marijuana. She also claims that Javaughn frequently gets so high that he begins ranting about religious topics, leading her to fear for their daughter's safety when she's with him.

After five years together, Kehlani says she can no longer tolerate the "chaos and abuse," accusing Javaughn of disturbing her peace of mind and threatening her safety. She also stated that after their June fight, Javaughn blocked her and disappeared.

Kehlani expressed concern about Javaughn picking up their daughter from school without her knowing where they go. A judge found enough evidence to issue a temporary restraining order, barring Javaughn from contacting Kehlani or coming within 100 yards of her or Adeya. Additionally, Kehlani was granted sole custody of their daughter, at least until a hearing scheduled for next month.
