Ben Affleck’s departure is now official, despite earlier promises that he’d stay committed—not just in his wedding vows, but also in the engagement ring he gave Jennifer Lopez.
In 2022, J Lo shared on "The Zane Lowe Show" that during their rekindled romance, Ben was so deeply in love that he had the phrase "not.going.anywhere." engraved on her engagement ring as a symbol of his devotion. Jen also mentioned that Ben used to sign off his emails with the same message when they reconnected after two decades apart. The phrase meant so much to her that she named one of the tracks on her album This Is Me... Now after it.
This reassurance was especially significant given how their first engagement fell apart in 2003. But unfortunately, their second attempt at love also didn’t last.
