Kim Kardashian has embraced cutting-edge technology with her latest acquisition—a Tesla Optimus robot, introduced by Elon Musk just last month.

The SKIMS founder shared her experience with the humanoid assistant on X, showcasing their interaction in a video. Kim greeted the robot with a wave, which it promptly returned. She then tested its capabilities by asking if it could create a heart shape with her, and to her surprise, the bot joined in, completing the gesture.

Throughout the clip, Kim quizzed the robot and watched it demonstrate its movements, including running, hula dancing, and “raising the roof.” Posting her excitement, she wrote, “Meet my new friend 🦾🤖 @Tesla.”

Kim also took to Instagram Stories to share more moments with the robot, revealing additional features and antics.

This isn’t the first time a Tesla Optimus has made waves among celebrities. During the company’s "We, Robot" event in October, rapper 2 Chainz had a conversation with one of the bots—although it was later revealed the interaction was controlled remotely by a Tesla employee. Elon Musk has previously stated the Optimus robot is expected to cost between $20,000 and $30,000.


Kim, a known Tesla enthusiast who also owns a Cybertruck, hasn’t confirmed whether she purchased the robot or received it as a gift from Elon. Regardless, she seems thrilled with her high-tech companion!
