Irene Nekesa, a former house help to Diana Marua, once claimed she earned KSh 100,000 monthly during her time working for the popular celebrity. However, her recent appeal for assistance has left many Kenyans puzzled.
After leaving Diana’s household, Irene revealed she was struggling to furnish her home and sought help from well-wishers. She shared that her current living conditions were dire, admitting that people may have noticed her challenges, prompting her to speak out in hopes of receiving support.
"I don't have any furniture in my house. I don’t have a chair or a bed. Someone kindly gave me a small used mattress after I had slept on the floor for three days. If any furniture companies can assist, I’d be happy to help market their products in return," she said.

Irene also clarified that she had worked for Diana Marua for nearly seven years and that their parting was amicable. Despite her current challenges, she remains hopeful for support to rebuild her life.
