Nairobi businessman Khalif Kairo has extended his heartfelt gratitude to Kenyans for their financial support after he shared a Paybill number seeking assistance.

Kairo, the owner of Kai and Karo, has faced ongoing legal and financial struggles, spending months in and out of police custody. He has been accused of accepting payments from multiple customers without delivering their vehicles, a situation that has significantly impacted his business.

Following his recent re-arrest, Kairo reached out to the public for help, and Kenyans responded. While he did not disclose the exact amount received, he expressed confidence that his offices would soon reopen.

In a message of appreciation, he wrote:

"I want to thank all who contributed to our Paybill. That public goodwill, despite our failures, is one of the reasons I haven’t given up. Our offices will re-open, and we will expedite all pending vehicle deliveries to ensure all our clients are sorted out. May God bless you."
