Tanzanian socialite and entrepreneur Hamisa Mobetto has confirmed she is in a new relationship, months after her highly publicized split from Togolese businessman Kevin Sowax.
Taking to Instagram, Hamisa introduced her new beau, Burkinabe footballer Stephane Aziz Ki, to her fans. She shared heartwarming photos of the couple looking deeply in love, captioning the post, “He is exactly the poem I wanted to write.”
Stephane Aziz Ki, the prolific Yanga SC striker, also expressed his love for Hamisa on his Instagram, posting pictures of them together. His caption, written in French, read “Paix, Amour, Bonheur”—which translates to peace, love, and happiness.

Hamisa’s Past Relationships
Hamisa’s new romance comes after her breakup with Kevin Sowax in May 2024, following a year of dating. She confirmed the split during an Instagram Q&A, stating, “I am very single. I am not in any relationship. Yule tuliachana.”
Kevin Sowax also addressed the breakup with a cryptic message on social media, writing, “Don’t rush things. When the time is right, it will happen.”
Previously, Hamisa was linked to American rapper Rick Ross.
Hamisa and Rick Ross: A Romance That Sparked Speculation
Rumors of a relationship between Hamisa and Rick Ross surfaced between 2021 and 2022. The duo, both brand ambassadors for Luc Belaire champagne, frequently flirted on social media, with Ross leaving romantic comments on Hamisa’s posts.
Their chemistry ignited further speculation when they met in Dubai in November 2021, where they were seen dancing intimately at a nightclub. Hamisa later fueled the rumors by sharing cozy photos of them together in a hotel room.
Despite the mounting speculation, Hamisa denied dating Rick Ross in a January 14, 2022 interview on a Kenyan TV station. She clarified that they were simply close friends and business associates, stating, “We are quite close. I wouldn’t say it is a relationship, but we work together and are like one big family.”
However, in March 2022, Hamisa’s trip to the U.S. reignited the rumors after Rick Ross called her “my baby” on social media, to which she responded by expressing how much she missed him.
By May 2022, the two finally confirmed their relationship in a video call shared online. During the call, Hamisa asked Rick Ross to clarify their status for curious Tanzanians, to which he responded, “Yes, she is mine.”
Hamisa playfully reminded Ross about her dowry, mentioning that her mother expected cows as part of the bride price. “My mother wants cows, remember the last time you talked?” she told him.
Now, with her new romance with Stephane Aziz Ki, Hamisa seems to have moved on, embracing a new chapter in her love life.
