Former Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho's recent videos and photos have amused netizens. The former governor seems to be fully assuming the role of a social media model!


The former governor is seen wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch in a recent Tiktok video lip-syncing one of Alikiba's songs. A simple internet search reveals that this watch may have cost up to 5 million Kenyan Shillings.


Governor Joho is well known for leading a flashy lifestyle, and he has previously been captured on camera wearing outrageously pricey clothing and accessories. This was actually a step down from the Richard Mille Felipe Massa Flyback Chronograph he was once seen sporting, which cost a whopping Kshs.27 million. Who said you couldn't purchase time?
