At the Shoke Shoke festival last night, Nairobi governor Johnson Arthur Sakaja demonstrated to many that he is still your usual performer. The politician attended the event dressed in business casual attire, and his security was with him.

Sakaja was brought to the stage by media celebrity Sheffie Weru, who served as the MC, as seen in a video posted on Vincent Mboya's YouTube account, and he energized the crowd.

As Sakaja stepped onto the platform, he beckoned rapper Khaligraph to the front. Several onlookers gasped in amazement as they watched the county chief conduct business with the Omollo crooner.


Sakaja aspired to impress the renowned rapper by showcasing his rapping abilities. The politician started rapping alongside Khaligraph, and Sakaja's flawless rhymes shocked many followers. They all lifted his spirits.

Sakaja performed a musical in September 2022 when he joined a choir for worship at a Nairobi church. The new city boss entertained worshipers as he took the stage and brought down the roof with his flawless strumming abilities. During the service, the governor was present with other county officials, including his deputy, Njoroge Muchiri.


Before this, Sakaja joined an entertainment crew and displayed his talents while celebrating Justice William Ouko's birthday with family and friends.

The governor, who once said he played in various entertainment venues for a living, dazzled partygoers. He startled the band hired to provide entertainment for the visitors by expertly playing the instrument and mimicking Mugithi noises. Sakaja's guitar playing at church services is not an isolated incident; the senator is known affectionately as "super senator" on several occasions.
