Zari Hassan, a socialite from Uganda, has responded to those who have criticized her for engaging in activities and listening to music during the Ramadan fast. In a recent video that Zari shared, she reprimanded them, telling them to concentrate on their Ramadhans and leave the decision to God.

Zari continued by asking why, if they are as holy as they claim to be, they aren't busy praying and following the holy month instead of minding other people's business online.

The socialite declared that she would do whatever she pleased and felt was appropriate, leaving God to be the judge and not man.

When she has something to say, Zari doesn't hold back, even if it could offend certain people.

She once got into a fight with a fan who asked the question on everyone's mind ever since she revealed her new, somewhat young partner during her All-White Party in Nairobi back in June: what exactly does she see in the guy?

Zari lost control of her emotions and at once displayed a human side of herself that we hardly ever witness.

There was yet more. Zari then responded in a video, expressing her annoyance with the fan and society in general.

"I'm not going by the rules where society is setting standards we're supposed to love people of certain calibres- you know. When you tell me you need to get rich men, I know the types. But this is what I decide to stay with.

What makes you think this person doesn't have a life? Just because he's not flashy? Just because he's not them boys who are all over Instagram, social media trying to prove a point? What is his class? What is his social economic status? You wanna know all these things. What happened to loving people for who they are? What happened to that?"

Early in June, Zari's new lover was first seen with her in a public place. Once Zari came to the party holding the enigmatic new man, she had a great surprise in store for her followers during her All White event in Nairobi. The couple, who were dressed in white for the occasion, completely stopped traffic.
