Shania Twain is a strong advocate of country music. During her acceptance speech for the Equal Play Award at the CMT Awards on Sunday, the famous country music diva emphasized the need for greater justice and diversity in the sector.
She claimed she had no clue that the line "Man I feel like a woman" would become a recurring theme in a lengthy career when she first composed it. Shania stated in one of her best singles, "It's amazing how one statement can inspire so many people."

When receiving an award on stage, she sang acappella with the African American singing group The BoykinZ. As Kelly Clarkson pleasantly surprised the group by inviting Twain out to meet them on an episode of Clarkson's daytime talk show, the sisters and aspiring country stars quickly grew close.
