Dr Ofweneke, a well-known corporate and celebrity MC, recently made news as the principal master of ceremonies during Akothee's royal wedding ceremony, which took place on Monday at Nairobi's Windsor Hotel.

The gifted comedian told exclusively to Nairobi News that Akothee had met his rate card and had already collected his cash.

"As we speak, my money is already in the bank." "I was paid well, and she kept her word," he claimed. Although he refused to give the actual figure, Ofweneke hinted that it was more than Sh 1.4M, making him Kenya's highest-paid MC.

"It was more than I asked for, and I can now officially declare that I am the highest paid MC in Kenya," he said proudly.

He also said he might travel to Europe for MC Akothee's second wedding.

When asked why he was the "one" as Akothee's MC, Ofweneke stated that he works with people who scold and critique him lovingly. "I am equally prepared to serve them." "I don't charge them if they call me to their events," he explained.

Before organizing any event, Ofweneke conducts extensive research to ensure he is current on relevant subjects.

"You have to keep youself informed a lot about the people you're working with, understand them, and then turn that into humor." "I also have God's favor," he added.

In a previous article, Akothee revealed that Ofweneke had requested Sh 1.4 million for his services at her traditional and white wedding. Ofweneke stated that he has matured and that people see his abilities.

"Hosting two of the most talked-about events in 2023 is an honor," he continued.

The gifted comedian is well-known for infusing laughter and comedy into any event he hosts, as evidenced by his MCing of TV anchor Catherine Kasavuli's fundraising, requiem liturgy, and funeral.
