Popular Hollywood stalwart Robert DeNiro, 79, has welcomed his seventh child.
When appearing on ET Canada, the actor disclosed the news, cryptically revealing that he was no longer a father of six before swiftly correcting the hosts.
"There's no getting around it with kids." I don't particularly appreciate having to enforce rules and regulations. "But sometimes you just don't have a choice," he explained.
While addressing themes of family, particularly his latest film 'About My Father,' host Brittnee Blair reminded the actor, "I know you have six kids," before De Niro corrected her, stating, "Seven, actually."
"I just had a baby," he announced joyfully.

De Niro also stated that he does not consider himself a "cool dad" and that despite regular conflicts with his children, they always kept things respectful.
While 'The Godfather star did not reveal the identity of the child's mother at the time, his current girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, announced her pregnancy on a dinner date last month.
From prior relationships, the two-time Academy Award winner has six children.
Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, are De Niro's children from his first marriage to Diahnne Abbott. Julian and Aaron, both 27, were born with his former partner, model and actress Toukie Smith, in 1995. De Niro and ex-wife Grace Hightower have two children: Elliot, 24, and Helen Grace, 11.
