A second opinion aided in the recovery of actor Dolph Lundgren from cancer.
In an interview with "In Depth", Lundgren, 65, revealed that he has been fighting cancer silently since doctors discovered a tumour in his kidney in 2015.
The "Rocky" franchise star claimed in 2020 that he thought he had acid reflux, but it turned out to be more tumours that were surgically removed.
"There's a film there that I was going to direct and star in, and it was supposed to start in the fall." "The doctor called me while I was in Alabama getting ready to shoot and said they found another tumour in my liver," Lundgren explained.

He claimed the doctor informed him that the tumour had become so enormous that it was no longer operable.
That required a different type of treatment, which Lundgren's fiancée, Emma Krokdal, claimed had terrible adverse effects.
"His mouth got sore," she said. "His hands and feet became sore, and he couldn't eat anything warm, cold, or spicy." So eating was difficult for him, and he continued to lose weight."
The "The Expendables" star said he was given about two to three years to live, but he felt the doctor who told him didn't feel he had that much time.
"I mean, you look back on your life and think, 'Oh, I've had a great life,'" he explained. "I've had a fantastic life. With everything I've done, I've lived five lifetimes in one."
"The cancer is responding really well in certain parts of his body," Drakaki added. "There are certain lesions that we can no longer see. So that's above and beyond."
Lundgren became emotional when discussing how he feels right now.
"You know, you appreciate life a lot more," he admitted. "You appreciate each and every day."
