Netizens were astounded when Hollywood actor Lupita Nyong'o unveiled her new appearance, which was influenced by Indian culture. The actress shared pictures of her henna-decorated bald head, which she claims had been her dream for the last 1.5 years.

She continued by describing how she first saw the design at an Indian wedding and was intrigued by it, promising to give it a shot someday.

"THE STORY OF MY HEAD:

I met @hennabysabeen last year at a wedding in Pakistan. She did the #HennaDesign for the bride and I was ASTOUNDED by the INTRICACY and BEAUTY of her work. There was something unique about the way she expressed herself in henna art. And I promised myself, "One day I will have a reason to work with Sabeen."

"And then, in the middle of the night, an image SHOT into my mind of a henna design covering my bald head!!! I could do something special and different, to celebrate the culture using the canvas readily available to me! I was so excited by the idea that I could not go back to sleep. Misha connected me to Sabeen, and we were ON OUR WAY..."She wrote.

Netizens were divided with the look with some impressed and others not so much. Lupita has always attracted attention as far as her life is concerned.

Just recently, the often conservative star showed her wild side as she lapdances for a very lucky gentleman.

The video was recently shared by Lupita on her Instagram page and shows her pulling off some dance moves like a true professional.

The clip is a short version of when Lupita was on Comedy Central show Lip Sync Battle competing with American actress Regina Hall a few years back. In her caption, Lupita noted: “Dance like everyone is watching (except Mummy and Daddy)!” And if you watched her routine you would understand exactly what she means when she is saying this.

The comment section erupted with astonishment as both international and local celebrities found themselves in disbelief over Lupita's striking transformation.
