The iconic American R&B music duo Boyz II Men's Spotify streams have increased tremendously since the announcement of their debut Africa Tour stop in Kenya, according to the music streaming service.

Boyz II Men are set to headline the second edition of the Stanbic Yetu Festival on June 10. the American group is expected to make stops in Uganda and South Africa.

The Grammy Award-winning trio is regarded as one of music's most iconic R&B groups. According to Spotify data, plays of the band's music have increased by over 400% since the announcement of their tour, with End of the Road being the audience favourite.

According to Spotify, the average number of streams and teachers for Boyz 11 Men music has also hit the roof.

Boyz II Men was a major element of the boy band craze that swept the world in the 1990s. They were popular alongside other bands such as Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block, Blackstreet, and New Edition.

The concert is scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Nairobi and will include an outstanding lineup of Kenyan and foreign R&B performers.

G-Money, DJ Grauchi, DJ Forro, Dj Shaky, CNG, and DJ Cream are the Kenyan DJs scheduled to perform at the event.

The award-winning Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol will perform alongside the group. Event organizers officially confirmed the Afro-pop band in a press release. This might be the last time sauti sol will perform together as they have announced they will take a break from the industry.

Last year the Stanbic Yetu Festival debuted, with multi-award-winning American artist Anthony Hamilton headlining alongside Kenyan acts Otile Brown and June Gachui.
