Timothy Kimani, widely known by his stage name Njugush, has recently announced his intention to adopt his stage name as his official name. In an interview with film producer Philip Karanja, he explained that it has become increasingly challenging to differentiate between his personal name and the brand name Njugush.

Njugush acknowledged the immense popularity and growth his brand name has brought to his comedy series, "Through Thick and Thin" (TTNT). The recent TTNT 4 Nairobi edition, held at the KICC, drew a remarkable attendance of over 3000 people. This successful event followed Njugush and his wife's triumphant show in Swindon, UK, just a few weeks earlier.

By making his stage name his official name, Njugush aims to streamline his identity and unify his personal and professional image. This decision reflects his commitment to his comedic craft and the recognition that his brand name has become synonymous with his achievements in the entertainment industry.

The phrase "through thick and thin" refers to the couple's history of supporting one another through both good and bad times. Additionally, the disparity in their physique sizes plays a role.

The story of Njugush and Wakavinye is a testament to love, tenacity, and hard work. As they described in a prior interview, the pair has progressed from poverty to affluence.

They first connected when enrolled in journalism and mass communication courses at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication in college.

In a previous interview, Celestine claimed that Njugush's sense of humour was what initially drew her to him because she could never become bored in his company.

They are delighted to be Tugi and Toria's parents. Despite his youth, Tugi is making a lot of money in the entertainment sector. More than 130 000 people have already subscribed to the boy's YouTube page.

The videos of Tugi that have been circulated on social media speak to the fact that he shares his father's sense of humour, following in his parents' footsteps.

The Njugush family raised the bar for family involvement in content development and entertainment, making them a trailblazer in the nation. Over the past few years, they have witnessed an exponential growth in their brand.

Njugush applied for roles at Kenya National Theatre after graduating from high school. Only one of the six auditions he participated in resulted in success. He played high school set books for eight months while doing this.

A smart celebrity, Njugush made wise real estate investments during the height of his renown. His major break in comedy came in 2013 when Abel Mutua called the comedian regarding a TV role.

Abel offered Njugush a role in the well-known comedy series Hapa Kule News after witnessing him act in a play in 2011.

When Abel Mutua gave Njugush a second role in the well-known drama series The Real House Helps of Kawangware, his career had a significant uplift. After leaving The Real House Helps of Kawangware, Njugush and his wife Celestine Ndinda began sharing their comedic skits on social media.
