Ever since internet users started linking content creator Azziad Nasenya with the Sports CS Ababu Namwamba, she has gained significant popularity. This surge in attention was triggered by speculations from internet users who noticed that they were wearing matching shoes and began to speculate about a romantic relationship between the two.
In response to these rumours, Azziad, during an interview with Youtuber Vincent Mboya, expressed her indifference towards what others think and revealed that she has grown accustomed to being falsely accused of various things. She remains unfazed by the speculations surrounding her and the Sports CS.
"People are mad. But it's fine, it's okay to be mad if you are mad you project it on me, at the end of the day you have blocked your own blessing," she said.

Recently, newly elected MP Peter Salasya said Namwamba had a crush on Azziad.
Salasya asserted in a tweet that the Talanta Hela Committee hired TikToker dancer Azziad Nasenya out of pure favoritism and that the CS was attracted to her.
Along with other creatives, Azziad was chosen, and Churchill the Comedian served as their chair.
"Ababu Namwamba what exactly attracted you to this lady to get confused to use government platforms to impress her?Wacha kuangusha luhyas in gvt hii kitu ungefaulu tu bila hizi zote.
When I call Ababu as an MP for serious engagement, he can't pick up calls but he is quick for this nonsense." Salasya said.
The MP was condemned by KOT. "One of the reasons why LUHYA people rarely progress is WIVU mingi. Peter Salasya is MALIGNING and MUDSLINGING Ababu Namwamba for appointing Azziad Nasenya.
Not just Salasya believed Azziad lacked the qualifications for the position she was appointed. Robert Alai, a county assemblyman from Kileleleshwa, also voiced his displeasure with the selection of influencer and radio host Azziad to the committee in charge of managing the nation's creative economy.
"I love and respect Azziad. However, I don’t know her competence. Beyond TikTok dancing, I don’t understand what serious things she knows about the creative economy or even identifying talent. We have enough Kenyans who know much more about this. I can share some names." Alai questioned.
After learning of her appointment, Azziad Nasenya expressed her thanks for being given the prestigious position alongside other more seasoned artists.
For the benefit of the entire creative sector and people like herself who work inside it, she pledged in a lengthy statement that she would take the position seriously.
"I sincerely thank H.E @ababuterrah and the entire Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports & the Arts team for nominating me to be part of the Creatives Technical Committee. I am a firm believer in the potential of the creative economy as a fulfilling career and source of income, and beneficiary of the same.
