After a catastrophic mishap in her home, high-flying morning radio host Kamene Goro was brought to a Nairobi hospital in an ambulance.

Kamene posted a video of herself in a hospital bed, explaining that the accident had severely wounded her knee and necessitated surgery. She didn't say anything about how the accident happened.

"So, yesterday I had a pretty unfortunate incident at a house I just moved into, and I damaged my knee pretty badly," Kamene explained.

She said she was transferred to Karen Hospital by ambulance on Wednesday night and got an MRI on Thursday.

"I arrived at the hospital in an ambulance yesterday night...You guys battled to have an MRI pumped full of painkillers. Then there was the MRI this morning. "I was admitted and told I had surgery this morning (Thursday)," she explained.

The presenter, who Kiss FM hired alongside co-host Andrew Kibe from NRG Radio, claimed the disaster made her ponder on life lessons.

"I've learned a lot of lessons," she continued, "but more specifically, who will and who has positioned themselves in my life."

"And I want to thank everyone who has shown me so much affection...Let's see how it goes. I won't deny, I'm a little nervous, but it is what it is. Always remember that we are bigger than our problems."
