Media personality and radio host kamene goro has finally responded to kenyans who were criticising her for washing Omena with antibacterial soap.

She posted a story on her Instagram page with the caption, "Still pressed about the omena, and baby girl ako beach". The caption insinuates that the radio personality is unbothered by the comments made by kenyans on Twitter.

Yesterday, Kamene was receiving kenyans frustrations after she shared a video of her washing Omena with disinfectant soap.

The media celebrity can be seen in the video standing by the sink, scrubbing and adding soap to a bowl of Omena while stating that it must be washed before cooking. She continued by saying that she would wash it with water thereafter to make it suitable for eating.

I have watched the video of Kamene Goro desecrating the palatable silver cyprinid with soap and disinfectants with utter shock and disbelief.

Upcoming politician Alinur Mohamed came to her defence, saying that omena is not food for human consumption and should be felt for cats and dogs to eat.

"Personally, I believe Omena is not food. It is meant for cats and German Shepherds dogs. If you must eat them, wash them with soap and hot water to disinfect them the same way Kamene Goro does here." said Alinur.
