Kenyan content producers Milly WaJesus and Kabi WaJesus have said they will sue anyone who disparages them or tarnishes their family's reputation.
The WaJesus family said it hurts when people only use channels to attack them and discredit a brand they have worked so hard to build on their YouTube channel.
This happened following the global success of a video showing Kabi WaJesus and his mother-in-law Mrs Ng'ang'a dancing. While some content producers created materials related to the video, others accused Milly's mother of enchanting Kabi.
Kabi is Mrs Ng'ang'a's son, and she expresses her pain at others accusing her of terrible things only because she is close to her kids.

"Those slanderous accusations, those insinuations that Mama Milly has bewitched Kabi, are they evidence? Are you crazy? Such a topic is unaeka on YouTube, yako na nikiskiza huyo mtu ni mtoto mdogo sana hata kuliko watoto nimezaa, that I enchanted Kabi. Shame on You, and I'll be in touch with you later.
According to Kabi, the WaJesus family and his mother-in-law have been disparaged in films posted on YouTube channels, who pointed out that these people seem to have forgotten that she is a mother, not an actress.
You can't just say whatever you want about her because she is online; she is a mother, not an actress. This is Mama Milly, and she is not pretending to be a mother. We are going after those YouTube channels. You guys think we're timid despite being suitable for a long time. We're planning to file a lawsuit against anyone who disparages Mama Milly or the WaJesus family.
The family stated that since their brand, the WaJesus, brings them money, anyone who feels like disparaging them and mistreating Milly's mother will be required to pay instead of having their comments removed.
WaJesus Family is an organization. This brand will pursue you because it is one. Be cautious about what you say because we will take legal action against anyone who makes defamatory remarks about us or any of our family members.
