Chris Mosioma, better known as Embarambamba, has denied claims that he is a member of the LGBTQ community or suffering from mental health issues.

This comes after another of his sketches went viral in which he wore miniskirts and gowns while performing his unappealing tunes.

In an interview with the Nation, Embarambamba stated that his humour is combined with music to gain followers and earn a living.

"With my latest antics, some have suggested that I have joined the LGBTQ+ community." I have not. This is simply humour and music in my style." he said

"Wearing dresses is not a bad thing," he remarked. That is how I market my content. We live in a digital age and must be innovative to sell. Those who question why I am invited to various religious activities fail to recognize that we all worship God uniquely."

Embarambamba has been mocked by the bulk of the online community, with some even calling him an embarrassment to his Kisii community.

But he denies this, stating that humour comes in several forms, which is his approach.

"I'm not trying to embarrass the Kisii people." Those who know me understand that I strive to provide for my family while worshipping God. Kisii, of course.

Embarambamba emerged after recordings of him rolling in the mud in brightly coloured outfits began circulating online.

His distinctive outfits were originally constructed of polka dots, but he has since transitioned to skirts and dresses.
