According to a source familiar with the situation, Madonna was released from the hospital and carried to her New York City home in a private ambulance. Adding that she is in the clear.

Guy Oseary, Madonna's longtime manager, said in a post on his verified Instagram on Wednesday that the singer, 64, "developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU" last Saturday.

"Her health is improving but still receiving medical attention." "A full recovery is expected," wrote Oseary. He also stated that Madonna's future tour would be postponed while she recovers.

"At this time, we need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour," Oseary added. "We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and rescheduled shows."

On Wednesday, a source close to the singer told CNN that she was "out of the ICU and recovering."
