Jose Chameleone, a well-known musician from Uganda considered a legend in the music business, has announced that he has been treated and released from a hospital in Minneapolis.

The Ugandan celebrity expressed his sincere gratitude for the support, love, and prayers he got while in the hospital, saying they gave him courage during a trying time.

The Badilisha hitmaker also declared that his rehabilitation was doing well.

I want to take a minute to express my heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and prayers that I received throughout my hospitalization, Chameleone remarked as he took a moment to do so. Your thoughtful wishes have helped me get through this trying period. I'm presently moving toward recovery.


He also expressed his gratitude to Minneapolis' Aline Medical Hospital for playing a crucial part in his advancement.

The musician, regarded as one of the most well-known in East Africa, expressed optimism that he would soon return to good health despite recognizing that his rehabilitation might still require time and patience.

He expressed his gratitude to everyone who had supported him and emphasized his trust in God's eternal goodness in his final statement.

Jose Chameleone's father first broke the news of his son's hospitalization and the singer's persistent illness.

Over the previous few months, Chameleone has been ill. The disease worsened once he relocated to America. He is presently on his sick bed because he is so unwell. According to his father, he has been experiencing stomach issues for which he is currently seeking treatment.


Humprey Mayanja, Chameleone's brother, has also been unwell and bedridden in the same nation. Recently, he underwent urgent surgery to address issues relating to his stomach.

The brother of Chameleone posted a concerning update about his condition on social media. He had a medical problem that required immediate attention soon after leaving Uganda for the US.

He recalled having sporadic fevers and feeling exhausted throughout the layover in Amsterdam, which made the trip unsettling.

He tried to sleep when he got to Boston but woke up with terrible stomach discomfort. Every five minutes, his stomach expanded, making it unbearably unpleasant to eat or walk.

After realizing the situation's urgency, his best buddy rushed him to the emergency department. There, he underwent several medical tests.


It was established following the diagnosis that additional testing and care were required.

A nasogastric tube was placed in his stomach to treat the infection at first. However, the medical team eventually decided to carry out an entire surgical procedure.
