Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, while interacting with his fans on social media, left his fans talking after spotting the golden-thorned shoe he was wearing. Known for flashy dressing, he also carried a gold-headed walking stick. Mike Sonko has often been attacked for having a lousy fashion sense with many dragging his "Kamba roots" for his often drab and tacky fashion choices.

Now, as if admitting his Ukambani roots have a role to play in his loud outfits, the former Nairobi Governor has asked his social media followers to help him find the perfect pair of shoes to go along with his blue suit as he shops for an official designer.

Some online users criticized him, claiming the footwear cost millions.

The former governor recently showcased his generosity by gifting the Kaveve Kazoze Crew with lavish clothing. In a video shared online, Sonko extended an invitation to the Spider Clan team and fulfilled his promise of providing them with new attire, including shirts, pants, hats, shoes, and sunglasses. Additionally, Sonko announced that he would be paying the crew to perform at his Mombasa nightclub, demonstrating his support for their talent and dedication. The gesture from Sonko not only delighted the Kaveve Kazoze gang but also highlighted his willingness to invest in and promote local talent.
