Rapper KRG the Don has addressed the controversy sparked by a newly released video in which he and Diana Marua, the wife of another musician named Bahati, are shown kissing.

The footage of the two dancing in a bar and what some saw as excessive physical contact has sparked a contentious internet discussion.

In an exclusive interview, KRG the Don discussed his relationship with Diana, whom he called his "sister."

"I get along well with the family. Heaven is their daughter, and I am her godfather. We feel like brothers and sisters because we are so close," KRG said.

KRG defended their relationships in response to the uproar generated by the footage, emphasizing their familial bond.

He compared it to how siblings greet one another.

Do you touch your sibling when you first meet him? Together, you give hugs and sing," he continued.

According to KRG, it is not up to others to evaluate Diana and her husband as long as they feel at ease with how they interact and their relationship is founded on respect for one another.

He clarified that they collaborated on various business projects and insisted their relationship was entirely platonic.

Diana has a husband. She has a husband, not me. Everyone should put their attention on themselves. She can't be told how to conduct her life since she's not a tiny infant. I wasn't intoxicated, so I could grasp what was going on. We had a good time and then went home," KRG stated.

The rapper said that he is not currently involved in a love partnership and that his main focus is achieving financial success.

"I am not dating. There is no woman in my life. I'm not seeking for anything else but money. I can only focus on one thing at once," he declared.

Diana's husband, Bahati, didn't seem to mind being close to and touching Diana in the video.

The video has received much feedback on Twitter, where users have expressed their concerns and questioned the limits between Diana and KRG.
