Charlene Ruto, daughter of President William Ruto, wrote a congratulations letter to comedian Chipukeezy in honour of his ten years in the comedy business.
"Since I don't find humour amusing, seeing humorous folks like Chipukeezy is a joy.
I'm thrilled for you, Chipukeezy, as you mark your tenth year in the business, which is fantastic. I recall coming to one of your performances a few years ago; I'm not sure if you were commemorating five years or anything similar, but the show was fantastic," she said.
Charlene continued by rallying support for Chipu's concert at the Mwai Kikabi Convention Center.

"So when you reached out to me saying you are celebrating 10 years I could not believe it's 10 years because he still looks the same – he is not aging. So I'm so excited for you and I can't wait to attend the event on the 5th of August 2023. I know I'm going to have a blast coz I do find Chipukeezy so funny," Charlene said.
Chupukeezy's 10th anniversary in the comedy business was initially supposed to take place at KICC. However, the location was altered.
"We would like to take this opportunity to announce that the Ten Toes Down event will now be held at the Mwai Kibaki Convention Center at MKU Thika instead of the KICC. Come join us as we dine in joy and love as we commemorate this enormous accomplishment," Chipukeezxy said.
Chipukeezy usually hosts all youth-related activities in close collaboration with President William Ruto and the Kenyan Kwanza government.
