The former Nairobi governor has responded to Kibe's allegations saying that Kibe should keep off his private business. He accused Kibe of being gay.

His response comes after Kibe accused Mike Sonko of making his money via dubious means and demanded he explain to kenyans how he can afford his expensive lifestyle.
In a street interview, Sonko acknowledged that the cost of living has increased, but the solution is not to destroy property and that kenyans should be patient and wait for the court order. Kibe did not like this response and demanded the politician give kenyans the solution to the high cost of living.

Sonko was not happy with Andrew Kibe's remarks and accused him of being gay and that he sells himself for money. sonko said that Kibe is being kept by a white woman in the united states and that she is the one who bought the car that Kibe drives.
Sonko said he is a brand and doesn't have to respond to Kibe. He accuses Kibe of being a nobody, so he attacks everyone. He said Kibe is known for attacking women and has previously abused Kenyan women like kamene goro,akothee and Karen nyamu.
The former governor said that Kibe should keep being a prostitute in the united states and leave others alone, adding that if he wants to attack him, he should do so when he is in the country.
He said Kibe should learn to respect people and that if he is looking for clout, he should ask for a job because sonko can pay him. sonko said that Andrew Kibe will end up in diapers if he continues his lifestyle.
