Kenyan artist Michael Macharia Njiri, better known as DJ Brownskin, has paid tribute to his late wife, Sharon Njeri, who died on July 29, 2022.

The DJ lit a candle while playing the song "I'll be missing you" in the background.

The DJ filmed Njeri's final moments as she emptied a toxic liquid into a cup and consumed it, according to a heartbreaking video recording shared by a famous blogger.

She then sat on the couch, and he videotaped for a few moments before requesting the 'auntie' to bring her milk.

Because the entertainer did not appear to intervene, social media users had mixed feelings about the event.

After his wife died, the DJ wrote an emotional post on social media, noting that her passing had left a tremendous gap in his life.

" Your death left a gaping hole in my life that I fill with the love we shared."

In another piece, he stated that he felt tested as a man when he had issues with no answers.

This year, he was arrested for assisting police with investigations for aiding suicide, violating Penal Code Section 225 (c).

The DJ was charged in June at Milimani law courts with assisting his wife, Sharon Njeri, in committing suicide in July of last year.

He was also charged with failing to prevent suicide and destroying evidence. He was accused of carelessness for allegedly failing to take reasonable precautions to prevent his wife's suicide while being aware of her plans.
