Shakilla is not afraid of controversy and was recently put on the spot after sharing a screenshot of her mpesa account claiming she had millions in savings.

These photos, which Shakilla initially shared, showed an M-Pesa balance of approximately Sh300,000. As a result, many people assumed from the screenshots that she was quite wealthy.

Shortly after sharing the screenshots on her social media platforms, speculations arose among users regarding the contents. The screenshots indicated that Goodluck Mbah had transferred a sum of kshs 285,000 to Shakila.

One curious feature that piqued the interest of the internet community was the usage of a lowercase "p" in "M-PESA" rather than the typical uppercase "M." This disparity quickly led to social media users realizing that the photo had been modified and that the socialite had purposefully altered it to fool her followers.

Users on Twitter have urged the controversial socialite to address the discrepancy in her screenshot. They argue that she had no trouble giving the information, so she should be fine with setting the record straight. Some internet critics have even labelled the socialite a liar, disappointing her devoted fans.

Critics argue that her actions have an improper influence on the younger generation. They believe many young individuals may feel pressured by their peers or the public on social media due to such posts.
