In a recent interview with Kiss FM, Tiktoker Brian Chira openly expressed regret for not showing appreciation to those who genuinely cared about him. The Tiktoker admitted that he had misunderstood some of his friends' intentions, especially those who had been instrumental in supporting him during his rise to online prominence. Reflecting on his past actions, he acknowledged the importance of recognizing and valuing the people who have been there for him throughout his journey.

"I'm very sorry for those I have been toxic to because I have come to realize that I have been so toxic to friends who really cared about me, but I have never known they had good intentions. I thought they were trying to use me for the fame that I was gaining. They were there to hold me, but I didn't see it," Said Chira.

When Brian Chira discovered he was an overnight online phenomenon, he acknowledged that fame had entered his mind and caused him to pick and select who should be in his life.

Chira has made the decision to go away from social media in order to think about his behaviour and make amends. He wants to turn off his phone and disconnect for a while.

"I want to take a break from social media. I will switch off my phone, take my KSh 10,000, and chill somewhere," he expressed.

This apology follows a legal dispute in which Chira is accused of using derogatory language and sharing Azziad Nasenya's phone number. On Thursday, July 27, he was taken into custody after the incident. On Monday, July 31, he was nevertheless freed after posting KSh 50,000 in cash bond.
