Judy Nyawira, the wife of Abel Mutua, famously known as Mkuru, has advised women to always submit to their husbands and let them take the lead even if they make more money than him.
During an interview with youtube content creator Lynn Ngugi, Judy revealed that their marriage works because she has let her husband take the lead role in the marriage like it is written in the bible. Adding that money should not change that dynamic.
She revealed that she makes more money at certain times than her husband, but that has never affected their marriage or her husband's role to lead. She said that money does not change their dynamic. Judy said that they have never fought about money, and they put their resources together. She explained that marriage is full of ups and downs and that women should be there for their husbands.

Abel reveals that the two met in 2008, and she has been his source of inspiration; without her, he would have given up on life a long time ago and would even be someone Lynne would want to interview. According to Mutua, Judy has given him multiple reasons to grind harder.
Judy notes that the two were able to construct a firm foundation that has stood the test of time from their humble beginnings on campus.
