Edday Nderitu, wife of Mugithi singer Samidoh, has been in the United States with her three children for three months.

Edday left Kenya in May 2023 after her divorce from Samidoh. Samidoh is presently in Germany, but he plans to visit the United States shortly to meet his children.

Edday has been taking driving lessons in the United States and is considering remaining for an extended period of time. She has taken her children out of Kenyan schools and is looking for work.

The drama between Edday, Samidoh, and Karen Nyamu (Samidoh's mistress) recently came to a head when Nyamu raised a scene at a Dubai entertainment venue where Samidoh was performing. Edday was also in the room at the time.
