KRG the Don, a Kenyan dancehall performer, stunned fans by wishing his supposed daughter, Yvonne Njoki, a happy birthday.

The rapper posted the message on his Instagram Stories, writing, "Happy birthday Yvonne ML and MB." Mungu azidi kukubariki tele."

In an attempt to resolve the matter of Yvonne's paternity, KRG and Yvonne's mother sat down for an interview with YouTuber Nicholas Kioko in June.

Krg, according to the mother, fathered her daughter and was even present in their life for the first few months. She stated she first met KRG when she was 13, and he was working in Gikomba.

Before the interview, the musician stated he had never met the woman. He insisted that he had never dated her and that she was most likely confusing him for someone else.

The two heatedly debated as they tried to prove opposing positions. The mother said she named her daughter after KRG's mother, Njoki, even though she had never met her. She stated that was the idea of KRG.

Krg, on the other hand, argued that he was born in 1991 and could not have fathered the child because he was still in primary school.

After a few weeks, KRG decided to fund Yvonne's college studies.

KRG opted to pay for the little girl's education to assist her as a young lady with tremendous goals, not as his daughter.

KRG made it plain that his decisions and actions are motivated by his love for Yvonne and that no one should assume he is the biological father.

Krg said he would not undergo a DNA test because he was confident he did not father Yvonne and that the money might instead be used to pay Yvonne's school expenses.
