Mary Lincon is a well-known Kikuyu gospel singer and a social media influencer who, in a short amount of time, rose from obscurity to popularity through perseverance and hard effort. A few months ago, after her lewd images were posted online, she was attacked on social media by society and members of the religious community.

She addressed the subject in an interview a few hours ago, explaining why she had been so silent and what was going through her mind. She claimed that she was shocked by the online abuse and insults she received, which made it abundantly evident how despised she was.

She continued by saying there was a period when the hatred and insults drove her to the point where she considered killing herself. She claimed that after recovering from the trauma, she had discovered a strategy for dealing with negativity on social media: keeping quiet.

She elaborated that it was difficult for anyone to discern her inner thoughts during that time. She concluded her statement by reproaching individuals who persistently bring up others' unattractive histories. From your perspective, Kenyans, how do you perceive the issue of cyberbullying?
