Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Marioo has explained why he avoided the internet brawl between his girlfriend Paula Kajala and her ex-lover Rayvanny.

During an interview with Wasafi, Marioo said that he chose not to intentionally intervene in the internet feud because it was essentially a dispute between an ex-couple.

Though the Ananipenda hitmaker knew what had occurred, he decided to wait for the dust to settle before speaking with Rayvanny separately.

"Rayvanny and I respect each other. I discussed some things, but I had to let this one slip. "However, after a while, I asked him to stop the back-and-forth spilling of beans on Instagram," he explained.

Paula and Rayvanny's relationship began following the latter's bitter divorce from husband Fahyvanny, who accused the award-winning singer of being unfaithful even though they had been dating for years and even had a kid.

They would then date for a few months before breaking up in September 2022. What caused their breakup remained a mystery until May of the following year, when the two ex-lovers verbally brawled, accusing each other of infidelity. With everyone else sticking to their guns, Paula and the Teamo hitmaker flaunt their accusations on Instagram.

The parading of soiled clothing was so revolting that Rayvanny's baby mama Fahyvanny was not spared. However, the heated conversation began after Fahyvanny bemoaned an episode featuring her husband on the mother-daughter reality show 'Behind the Gram.'

Following the online spat, Paula asked her partner Marioo for forgiveness, stating that he should not be swayed by what others said on social media.

"I beg your pardon, my husband. What happened yesterday, I believe you already know everything, so don't be fooled by social media comments. Please accept my apologies."
