The singer in Kenya for a show posted blurry pictures, prompting a fan to ask whether the pictures were taken from an Android phone. The singer responded that the issue could be his WIFI because he is currently in Africa.

Many kenyans and Africans generally did not like the response and were sure to make their views heard. Kenyan comedian DJshiti blamed Kenyan promoters for bringing singers past their prime to perform in the country, adding that better artists like Kendrick Lamar would not use such tactics to promote their event.

"Africa is a continent and Kenya is a country, why would you blame your picture quality and put it on the WiFi, for a guy with one hit song we know in Kenya that was so disrespectful, black supremacy is so ironical say it you are in Kenya and not Africa." said Leilani.

"You can't disrespect africa and kenya in particular, that welcomed you and is paying you to go back where you came from. You don't deserve to be here. And dont come back, mr one hit wonder." another user added.

"I came here for the ‘I’m in Africa could be my WIFI! Huyu arudishwe kwao Asap. How dare he disrespect Africans like that." another one added.

Fabulous responded in his post's comment section, saying the answer was a joke and that he did not mean harm.

"Y’all literally trolled a joke about me not being where I was in the pic & stating where I was currently. I’m sure the Android comment was a joke & so was the response. How y’all spin that into me being disrespectful is beyond me. I guess that's what I get for trying to show love & respond to comments." he posted

"I’ve been shown nothing but love & shown nothing but love back during my stay in Africa, so this seems like nothing but internet trolling & some people taking offence based on someone motivating them to. Bad Wi-Fi or bad phone service can be anywhere. Not just subject to Africa. So how is saying I have bad service disrespect, especially in response to a joke said to me..? Always Love 🇰🇪" he added.
