Radio broadcaster Nyaminde alias Wilbroda has said goodbye to co-host Alex Mwakideu. Wilbroda praised him as a person who has been a terrific friend and collaborator on social media.

"You are an amazing partner and friend. I am proud of you. On to the next," she wrote.

After five years, Mwakideu declared Milele FM a closed page and announced his departure. He complimented his former employer and coworkers for a job well done.

"Yooooh! Its been 5 years ndani ya Milele FM. NIME ENJOY!!! Let me say AHSANTE SANA to you, the Listener, because without you, hakuna Radio! You are the reason we do this thing called Radio," he said

Adding "Let me also say ahsante sana to all my colleagues, the ones I am leaving behind, and the ones who left Milele FM already. Thank you all. Tuliipiga, na Ikapigika!! Page closed. "

Then he said, "Onto the next one! " and challenged his fans to predict which station he would arrive at next. Guess tunaenda wapi is coming up.

Just a week prior, comedian Mulamwah also announced his departure from the station, citing an inability to meet specific terms of his contract.

"I have officially quit MILELE FM after 1 year & 3 months of service . We could not agree on some aspects of the contract and the scope of work hence calling it quits. Thank you so much Media Max for the opportunity & also A BIG THANK YOU to the colleagues who have been very suppportive."
