According to several sources, american pop star Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have divorced after 14 months of marriage.
A representative for Spears, 41, and Asghari, 29, did not reply to demands for comment. The couple met while filming Spears' "Slumber Party" music video in 2016 and married in June 2022.
Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Selena Gomez were among the 60 guests attending the Los Angeles wedding.
However, by February of this year, Spears' inner circle had "grown concerned" about her well-being and planned an intervention, which was ultimately cancelled.
Rumours began spreading in March that the couple had marital problems, but Asghari's rep quickly debunked the claims.
The couple had been spotted without their wedding bands, but it was reported that Asghari just removed his ring while filming a movie. While it remained unknown what film Asghari was working on, he announced in November that he had been cast in Taylor Sheridan's television series Lioness.
Before their marriage, Asghari supported the pop artist with her mental health therapy in 2019.
