Jamaican dancehall artist Chinsea Linda Lee, popularly known as Shenseea, has extended a heartfelt apology to her devoted fan base in Kenya.
This apology comes in response to the recent postponement of her highly anticipated concert, originally slated for August 26, 2023. Shenseea chose to convey her regrets and share the reasons behind the unexpected rescheduling of the event through her Instagram stories.
“First off Kenya, let me start by saying that I love you guys so much but I’m sorry everything did not go as we were all expecting,” she explained.
She also acknowledged her disappointment and committed to redeem herself in front of her fans by giving an innovative performance.
“I’m really disappointed because I was looking forward to coming there and having a grand time with you guys but just know that when I do touch down there it’s going to be problems,” Shenseea said.

Her apology comes on the heels of an official announcement made by the organizers of the event, the Sababisha Festival.
“We are sorry to announce that after long consultations between our ground team and Shenseea’s management team, we have made the decision to postpone the Sababisha Festival which was scheduled to happen on August 26,” the statement read.
They also promised to hold the show at a later date in October assuring fans that their already purchased tickets will still be valid.
