Rapper Khaligraph Jones has been trending recently after claiming to be the finest rapper in Tanzania and Nigeria.

The feud began when the award-winning rapper encouraged Kenyans to stop hating Kenyan music, claiming that popular Tanzanian songs are nothing.

Some Kenyan and Tanzanian artists responded to this declaration by making diss tracks, while others supported it.

Later, the OG posted another video with the caption,

"Naskia Tanzania Ma Rapper wameshika moto, Yall have 24 hrs to go to the studio and record, na msiniletee amapiano, Bomboclat, ingieni kwa kiwanja tupimane nguvu, You will respect The OG."

Rosa Ree, a well-known Tanzanian rapper, accepted the challenge by producing a diss single in reaction to what Papa Jones had said.

In the track, she says; "Naskia kuna mtu anajaribu kuvuka border🙄 I'm the Best Rapper in AFRICA‼,️"She does this while looking at a reflection of herself in the mirror.

"Now you in my jaws I might eat you up, Who's the Goddess? Everybody says Rosa Ree," This is what she says at the end of the track.

The Tanzanian rap queen is among the artists who have retaliated with a diss track, and we see musicians like Zuchu who commented on the video on her Instagram page, giving her a thumbs up.

The rap queen Rosa Ree has released a confirmation diss track directed to khaligraph called "Mama Omollo."

Other artists have made comments during interviews and on their social media accounts.

Tanzanian hip-hop musician Fido Vato said, "You are a little boy; when he started rapping, he wanted to be like us, Nako 2 Nako." He has a prominent figure, yet he sounds like his girlfriend. He's not an OG; going to the gym and bulking up doesn't make you one."

Willy Paul, a Kenyan singer, also appears in favor of Kaligraph, claiming he is the best rapper in Kenya and Tanzania while criticizing Tanzanian bongo stars Diamond, Rayvanny, and Harmonize.

In an Instagram video, he asserts that he is the best singer in East Africa and that you cannot compare Willy Paul to your Elephant (Harmonize), Simba (Diamond Platnamz), and Chui (Rayvanny).

Rayvanny, an award-winning bongo singer, commented on the same in a Tanzanian program interview, saying:

"To be honest I recognize you as one of the best rappers and I wouldn't say on which side am, When Kaligraph that he is the best, it means to challenge, and I know he was talking to rappers and that is love. I know Tanzanians love Kaligraph and Kaligraph loves Tanzanians. He was doing this just to make all rappers wake up, I know he is best but also in Tanzania, we have our bests."
