Nigerian star Burna Boy, also known as the African Giant has responded to the speculations around his net worth.

The Nigerian superstar was a celebrity guest on Complex, and the show's presenter Speedy Morman questioned him about his wealth. Speedy revealed to the 'Last Last' hitmaker that a fast Google search estimates his net worth at $22 million (approximately Sh. 3.2 billion).

"Is that accurate?" Speedy quizzically asked as Burna burst out laughing heartily before noting that he preferred not to talk about that.

"Let us not talk about that one but I prefer them to think that, that is cool," the multi award winning artist said while trying to stifle his laughter and amusement at the google.

Speedy, who still needed an answer but did not want to push Burna beyond his comfort zone, questioned him if the estimate accurately represented his net worth or if it was far off. Burna said that he was considerably more valuable than the estimate.

"It is way off...way off," the Nigerian artist candidly said before they went on to talk about his family.

The capacity to support his family, according to Burna, is a great blessing and a source of pride for him.

"It's great man, it's a blessing. It's nothing short of a blessing. I always told my mum while growing up as a kid that I would buy her a house and a car someday...Another 'I Told Them' moment," Burna said proudly with a smile on his face.

He went on to add that interestingly enough even though he's super loaded now, he still hasn't bough his mom a house due to the sheer fact that she has not yet chosen a house that she wants to live in. According to him, this is because, like him, she is very busy on tour and likes the job more than he does.

"She hasn't got round to picking an actual house yet, like a house that she wants to live in. She is like me, she is on tour and loves the job more than me," said Burna Boy.
