Tanzanian musicians Juma Jux and Ommy Dimpoz nearly avoided a potentially fatal accident on their way to the Zanzibar full moon white party event yesterday.

The accident happened when a different vehicle's brakes failed, forcing it to lose control and collide with the van carrying the celebrities.

Raymond Maziku, Jux's manager, provided an update on the situation, noting that, thankfully, only one person was injured in the accident and was immediately brought to the hospital.


The 'Enjoy' hitmaker fled unharmed and posted an update on social media while still mourning the death of Haitham Kim, who died after suffering from respiratory sickness.

"Today is my birthday, and I have survived a severe accident while I was with Ommy Dimpoz," Juma Jux stated, expressing his thankfulness for surviving the accident. I thank God for the safety of my people and my entire team. Only one person has been brought to the hospital, but I believe they will be well by the grace of God!"


Many weeks ago, Juma Jux and Diamond Platnumz had another near-death incident when their elevator got stuck, and the lights went out for many minutes.
