Controversial Kenyan socialite and successful businesswoman Vera Sidika recently found herself compelled to address a fan who had directed negative comments her way.
The sequence of events began approximately two days ago when the curvaceous socialite graced her Instagram account with a series of captivating photos. These snapshots showcased her striking poses against the iconic backdrop of Times Square in New York City.
In the snapshots, the mother of two looked absolutely striking in her relaxed ensemble. She wore a white T-shirt adorned with a graphic, complemented by a pair of blue jeans and stylish black sandals.
Vera Sidika, who has been in the USA for more than a week now on tour, couldn't help but express her delight with her poses, playfully mentioning that she was turning heads in the city.
A Netizen Naomy Kemunto couldn't help but point out Vera Sidika's black sandals. She went on to assert that they seemed rather cheap for someone known for their lavish style.
"Pia wewe you can wear sandals za 350?" She wrote.
However, Vera Sidika swiftly responded and revealed that they were, in fact, designer sandals—specifically from Hermes Oran.
The curvaceous socialite went on to refute her claim, disclosing that the actual price for the pair of sandals was Kshs 99,400.
"FYI: These are Hermes Oran sandals & cost $700 (Ksh 99,400)" she said.
However, this isn't the first time Vera Sidika has found herself compelled to refute the skeptics or trolls who question the luxurious items she showcases online.
Just a few days prior, the socialite proudly displayed a lavish bed for her daughter, Princess Asia Brown, disclosing that she had invested Kshs 548,000 to import it from the UK.
When skepticism arose, she took it upon herself to break down the substantial expenditure, encompassing the actual cost of the bed along with the accompanying shipping fees. The total justified the expense.
In January 2022, Vera Sidika once more became the target of an online troll. This time, a netizen criticized her for frequently wearing her Gucci belt.
"Kumbe celebrities hurudia rudia belts" The unidentified fan commented on her Instagram story.
In her retort, the socialite emphatically stated that she would persist in wearing it repeatedly, emphasizing that it set her back a staggering Kshs 200,000.
"I spent Ksh 200K on that Gucci belt. Therefore I will wear it repeatedly till Jesus returns" Vera Sidika answered.
